Job summary

Barbosa Cabinets, Inc. in Lathrop, CA is seeking a Team Lead Stone to oversee daily operations in the stone department under a manager or supervisor. You will lead the team, enforce safety policies, assign tasks, review KPI data, and ensure production is completed on time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 12 months’ experience within the company or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of countertop industry or manufacturing environment beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead department in safety initiatives including PPE, monthly safety topics, safety committee participation and incident investigation.
• Lead and assign associates to the necessary workstations based off demand needed.
• Ensure department has completed all assigned production in the necessary time.
• Train and develop associates.
• Establish and maintain standard work procedures.
• Transfer from one task to another where demand is needed.
• Monitor KPIs and adjust manpower and/or work according to results.
• Update and review with team and leaders results of work performed by department.
• Participate and promote continuous improvement events within department.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
