Job description

Our partner is seeking a Production Team Lead - Nights to join their team in Sussex, WI. The position offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus. As a Production Team Lead, you will supervise and coordinate employees to ensure efficient and quality production processes during the night shift.

Shift Hours:
5:50 PM - 6:00 AM, Rotating 2-2-3 Schedule

Pay Rate:
$29.57 plus $1.50 shift premium

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate employees to execute core operating processes including GMPs, SOPs, supply management strategies, SQF practices, and LEAN philosophies.
  • Ensure quality product, efficiency, and profitability while optimizing customer value.
  • Review and discuss the production board to ensure production goals are on track and make adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure product quality standards, minimize held production, and properly dispose of held product when necessary.
  • Work with the Supervisor to plan resource utilization and minimize waste and downtime.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and the Production Supervisor to optimize equipment performance and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Engage and develop team members with a focus on collaboration and performance improvement.
  • Conduct pre and post operational inspections.
  • Enforce safety regulations and operational procedures as required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with 1-2 years of direct supervision experience, preferably in food and/or lean manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of achieving results through the growth and development of others.
  • Strong work ethic demonstrating excellent job performance in productivity, quality, safety, and attendance.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data, make decisions based on facts.
  • Team player who is resourceful, dependable, and collaborative.
