Oldcastle APG is seeking a shift supervisor to oversee production teams in a Coastal, Florida facility. The role involves setting production goals, supervising equipment operation, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will train staff, coordinate maintenance, and manage daily shift activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include inspecting machinery, tracking inventory, and driving continuous improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Previous team lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience providing on the job training to team members including operation of forklift, bobcat, loader, and development of production machine troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and endure climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling.

Aufgaben

• Set production goals and expectations.
• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment; sets up and operates machinery.
• Listen for unusual sounds and coordinate with maintenance to diagnose issues.
• Operate forklift as directed and follow safety policies.
• Inspect work in progress and finished products; oversee preventive maintenance.
• Track and report inventory and parts usage; analyze shift scorecards.
• Train, promote, and discipline employees; ensure safety rules are followed.
• Supervise department to meet quality and production standards.
