Job summary

Armstrong World Industries in Lincoln, CA is seeking a full-time supervisor to assist with evening shift production technicians, coordinating communication and directing activities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated qualification in electric and pneumatic powered tools.
• Forklift experience preferred.

• Work with various cements, gypsums, and casting materials.

Primary location: Lincoln, CA.
Employment status: Full‑time.
Salary range: $25 to $28 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Relocation offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with communication and direction of evening shift production technicians.
• Facilitate production work; not responsible for managing employees.
• Act as liaison and contact person for production technician communications to Direct Supervisors.
• Occasionally use electric‑powered, air‑powered, and hand tools (e.g., saws, sanders, nail guns, screw guns, wrenches).
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Work with various cements, gypsums, and casting materials.

Abilities

• Receive, comprehend, and communicate direction from management.
• Make decisions, meet targets, and work under pressure.
• Participate in the GC Products manufacturing efficiency program.
• Strive for excellence and support the company’s success and profitability.
• Work in stationary positions for long periods.
• Display professional conduct and adhere to company policies.
• Move up to 50 lbs and transport molds between table and floor.
• Operate in cold and hot ambient temperatures.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English).

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in manufacturing supervision (preferred).
• Demonstrated qualification in electric and pneumatic powered tools.
• Forklift experience preferred.
