Job Description Summary

The Inventory Control Team Leader is responsible for facilitating the activities of the Inventory Control team by balancing operational, strategic, and administrative needs to meet the Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery objectives of the unit. You will also guide the Inventory team to ensure production needs are met.

Responsibilities

1. Be the main point of contact for Production and Inventory for all CBR and ITR production lines.
2. Manage point of use (POU) material replenishment in coordination with Water Spiders and the Uncrating team for CBR and ITR (all kits including Elec, Mech, Inter, Inductive, Cabinets, Mechanism, Bushings, Center Conductors, CT’s, all 2 Bin parts, Galvanizing, and Active parts).
3. Handle production disturbances related to inventory and coordinate to resolve them promptly.
4. Collaborate with Kitting and material replenishment teams to meet daily production goals, including material transactions.
5. Print and organize Kitting Picklists in SAP for all kitted materials.
6. Receive incoming materials with 100% count accuracy, process SAP Goods Receipt (GR), and ensure correct physical and SAP putaway.
7. Coordinate problem PO/delivery confirmations with the purchasing team.
8. Ensure Material Request Forms are completed according to demand.
9. Address and resolve part issues from production.
10. Communicate work order changes to inventory personnel.
11. Participate in production meetings, end-of-shift meetings, and Genba walks as needed to align inventory with production needs.
12. Ensure all direct labor timesheets are completed.
13. Train inventory team members on inventory processes.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Business or related field with at least 2 years of experience in Logistics, Manufacturing, Warehouse, or Inventory Control, or a High School Diploma/GED with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of experience with SAP or similar systems.
