Job summary
BENTELER Automotive in Michigan is seeking an Entry-Level Production position to support manufacturing operations in a permanent, full-time role. You will help manage the production process, supervise shift output, control scrap, and oversee spare parts for a large production area.
You will assist line feeding, participate in setups and minor machine adjustments to ensure customer quality, and support launches in complex facility systems within the Develop & Launch process.
Responsibilities
- Manages production process, shift output, scrap control, and spare parts management for a large production area
- Supports line feeding, assists with setups and minor machine adjustments to meet customer quality; coordinates new parts
- Supports launches in complex facility systems in the Develop & Launch process
- Adjusts and monitors production flow regarding work safety, quality, quantity, schedule, and costs/economy efficiency
- Defines priorities in bottleneck situations and develops alternatives
- Leads, manages and develops the team; creates and announces the shift schedule to meet production levels and equipment efficiency
- Monitors and ensures compliance with work safety guidelines
- Drives Quality Assurance by implementing remedial actions for error avoidance, writing reclamation reports (8D) and creating operating instructions
