Job summary

Winona Foods is hiring a Team Lead for the 3rd shift in Green Bay, WI. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and drives line performance while supervising a production team.

Key duties include maintaining safety, quality, and productivity, performing line setup, training, and inventory control. Requires a High School Diploma and continuous adherence to GMP and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least six months of related experience to become familiar with processes and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with Windows-based computer systems and Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to read and comprehend documents such as orders and inventory records.
• Ability to write standard documentation.
• Ability to present information to other employees clearly.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for measurements and units.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to team members for safe job performance and proper line setup.
• Ensure paperwork accuracy and inventory control of packaging materials and finished goods.
• Maintain a clean work environment and uphold GMP standards.
• Support line samples and team member training.
• Collaborate with maintenance on line issues and drive process improvements.

• 3rd Shift (10:00pm-6:00am)
• $29.00per hour (including incentive)

• Job Location: Green Bay, WI

Summary:

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Team Lead works closely with the employees on their respective line to while providing direction to drive overall performance in the department.

Job Duties:

The list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

1. Provide direction to team members including but not limited to:
   1. Safe job performance
   2. Proper line set-up
   3. Paperwork verification
   4. Job responsibilities
   5. Work area cleanliness
   6. Quality of production
2. Follow all safety protocols
3. Provide support for line samples
4. Provide support for team member training
5. Check-ins for all team members to ensure support and engagement
6. Communicate with Maintenance to provide insight into line breakdowns
7. Assist Supervisor to drive and test process improvements
8. Train to Back-Up Supervisor on an as-needed basis
9. Train to Back-Up Operators on an as-needed basis
10. Accurate inventory Control of all packaging materials and finished goods pallets
11. Maintain a clean work environment
12. Comply with GMP standards as set forth by company
13. Sanitation and all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least six months of related experience to become familiar with processes and procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Experience with a Windows-based computer system and Microsoft Office programs is necessary
• Ability to read and comprehend documents such as sales orders, slips, inventory records, and receiving documents
• Ability to write standard documentation
• Ability to effectively present information to other employees in the organization
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals
