Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking a Production Team Lead to supervise Inspection Operators across levels 1–3, ensure accurate documentation, and support daily production goals.

The role requires leadership, knowledge of SOPs and IQMS, and the ability to train and coordinate teams in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One to three years related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Training experience strongly preferred.
  • Manufacturing or Plastics experience preferred.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect Operator Level 1 and Level 2 functions.
  • Trainer / Inspection Operator Level 3 functions.
  • Labor allocation.
  • Shift meetings.
  • Point of contact for Inspection Operators Level 1-2.
  • Count processes, investigations and remedies.
  • Final inspection and documentation.
  • Evaluate and update OWIs and SOPs.
  • Investigate inventory issues and discrepancies.
  • Back-up to Supervisor when needed.

  • Investigate and remedy inventory issues & discrepancies
  • Functional understanding of Supervisor roles and responsibilities in order to act as a backup to Supervisor when needed.
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed to support the success of the organization

  • Pull reports, assess data, and take appropriate actions
  • Proficient with IQMS and scan gun navigation
  • Mastery of all Inspection Operator (1), Trainer (2), and related responsibilities
  • Ability to research and solve routine issues and problems, including inventory
  • Strong work ethic / Motivated / Dependable.
  • Able to work independently and with minimal oversight / Self-Directed

Education, Training and/or Experience

  • Proficient in job functions of Operators Level 1-2
  • High School Diploma or GEDrequired
  • One to three years related experience and/or training preferred

  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Summary

The Team Lead’s primary responsibilities include the those of the Inspection Operator Level 1 through Level 3 as needed. The Team Lead is trained and capable of maintaining day-to-day production operations within the Inspection Operator team. The Team Lead is capable of supporting the Shift Supervisor primarily and/or performing duties carried out by the Shift Supervisor as required. The Team Lead reports to the Shift Supervisor and receives training-related guidance as needed. This individual is expected to perform job responsibilities according to the company’s core values and in accordance with applicable employment law best practices.
