Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Team Lead Production at the Robinson plant to translate short-term production goals into clear daily priorities and coordinate production and maintenance work to deliver safe, high-quality output. You will lead a technical team, ensure compliance with SOPs, and uphold food safety and environmental standards.

With a focus on scheduling, coaching, and follow-up, you'll drive reliable execution and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing or high-speed operating experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities and assign work to maintain safe, efficient production flow.
• Communicate shift priorities, monitor progress, and address issues that could affect throughput, quality, cost, or safety.
• Provide day-to-day direction, scheduling, coaching, and process guidance to SMEs and technical team members.
• Reinforce standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with food quality, safety, environmental, and plant requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance and other departments and shifts; document, prioritize, and follow up on maintenance notification requests in SAP PM.
• Confirm employees are properly qualified and trained to perform assigned work productively.
• Support labor staffing decisions in alignment with planned staffing and operational needs, including verification of time records.
• Enter and review operational information in SAP, review quality documentation, and follow up on exceptions and opportunities.
• Resolve routine operational issues by researching information and applying best practices.
• Promote continuous improvement by encouraging ideas and practical actions to improve plant performance.
