Job description

Come join Nolato Contour's team as a production team lead! You will be primarily responsible for facilitating and coordinating daily shift activities for designated area, supporting Safety/Quality/Delivery/Cost targets and goals. The production team lead will co-lead the daily shift activities as well as perform some direct labor functions as necessary.

Nolato Contour specializes in injection molding and assembly of plastic and silicone for medical/pharma customers.

We have immediate openings for production team leads on 12-hour day shift and 12-hour night shift.

Responsibilities:

• Print work orders for the rework or inspection of product
• Participate in discipline issues
• Identify problems (i.e. Gemba Walks) and use our problem solving methodologies to improve problems
• Make decisions to minimize downtime (i.e. a job isn’t running well, move on to the next job)
• Assign work to the operators that will include job rotations, based on the operator’s skills
• Provide opportunities, through personnel coverage, for operators to attend LAL training
• Manage orientation, onboarding, and continuous training of operators as defined by Value Stream Manager
• Perform visual inspections on manual machines or with new operators
• Work with other shifts for operator coverage as it relates to vacations or training
• Communicates to all production support across shifts
• Partner with the Lead Tech to run the shift
• Support and comply with all ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 14000 Policies, Procedures, SOP’s, Work Instructions as they apply to the job classification or specifically assigned job and complete as directed all required training related to these standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a production environment is required
• First Responder Training recommended
• Must be able to read, follow work instructions and have basic math skills
• Must be an ambitious, quality minded, and self-motivated individual that can work in a team environment
• Must have good attendance
• Employee is required to sit, stand, walk, bend and occasionally lift or move up to fifty pounds.

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts from either 7:00 AM-7:30 PM or 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
  12-hour shifts are ona rotating 2-2-3 schedule; 2 days working, 2 days off, 3 days working. Work 3 days one week and 4 days next week – have every other weekend off!
