Job summary

Responsibilities include assigning work, training teammates, ensuring safety, tracking scrap, and maintaining traceability. Requires 2+ years supervising, 2+ years operating machinery, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years' experience operating machinery and equipment.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs and perform responsibilities.
• Interpret mechanical drawings and use precision measuring tools.
• Postive attitude and drive to improve capabilities and profitability.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
• Track and improve scrap rates and overall yield.
• Maintain raw material and product identification for traceability.
• Participate in discipline and review processes for team members.

• Perform other duties as requested by Supervisors.

Requirements

Team Lead Job Responsibilities:

• Make work assignments for Refractory Finishers and Material Handlers
• Train teammates to properly complete taasks
• Ensure all safety and cleanliness standards are met
• Track and improve scrap rates and overall yield
• Maintain raw material and product identification to ensure traceability
• Participate in discipline and review process for team members
• Assist team members when necessary to ensure production demands are met
• Perform other duties as requested by Supervisors
