Production Team Lead

Location: Anniston, AL

Position Summary

This role involves supervising daily activities of team members, ensuring safety, and meeting production deadlines. The ideal candidate will proactively manage team dynamics and workflows, emphasizing productivity and safety.

What You Will Do:
  1. Coordinate team efforts for efficient and timely completion of installations, clarifying responsibilities and deadlines.
  2. Implement a progressive discipline process to uphold company policies and foster accountability.
  3. Ensure all tasks meet quality standards, striving for excellence.
  4. Handle parts according to procedures to meet quality benchmarks and improve efficiency.
  5. Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Materials, and Quality Assurance to streamline processes.
  6. Provide training and cross-training to enhance team versatility and effectiveness.
  7. Report unsafe conditions or injuries promptly.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized workstation at shift end, with tools properly marked and accounted for.
  9. Accurately complete documentation and track labor for transparency.
  10. Ensure the thorough and accurate completion of the LiveBus before line moves.
  11. Plan and execute tasks to meet daily production schedules.
  12. Monitor part shortages and report immediately to prevent delays.
  13. Conduct daily Toolbox meetings and communicate effectively to foster team cohesion.
  14. Adapt to a changing environment and support learning, including Oracle system usage.
Minimum Requirements for Success:
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent blueprint reading skills and knowledge of process sheets and work instructions.
  • Familiarity with online installations and commissioning requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook.
  • High attention to quality and detail orientation.
