Job summary

The Sazerac Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2-2-3 night shift at our Lewiston, ME facility. You will respond to line anomalies, secure wiring, and bring bottling equipment back to spec, supporting safety and uptime.

The role requires hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs, and a commitment to quality repairs. You will work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and maintain high standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of maintenance or manufacturing experience in a fast-paced setting.
  • Preferred: technical school training or an associate degree.
  • Experience with manufacturing equipment troubleshooting, electrical systems, PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred), industrial controls, or welding.
  • Forklift or scissor lift operation experience.

Responsibilities

  • Keep production assets, bottling lines, facility systems, and grounds operating through disciplined preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, execute quality repairs, and brief maintenance leadership on equipment status and risk.
  • Advance continuous improvement, uphold safety and compliance standards, and maintain a clean, well-organized environment.
  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with production and support teams to cut downtime and raise operational performance.

Imagine this: It's 5:45pm and your 2-2-3 night shift begins. A sensor on the bottling line flags an anomaly. You trace it to a loose connector, verify the PLC input (Allen-Bradley preferred), secure the wiring, and the filler hums back to spec. That blend of speed, safety, and craftsmanship is what defines success in this role.

Your impact

What you bring

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of maintenance, manufacturing, or relevant industrial maintenance experience in a fast-paced setting.

Physical capability
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Work around moving equipment; climb ladders and stairs; safely operate industrial machinery.
Rewards

Hourly pay range: $30.14 - $45.22.
