Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA in Cheshire, CT, is seeking a Production Support Technician to manage daily material flow on the manufacturing floor and support production and external services.

You will assist assembly, clean parts, mark containers, inspect and deburr, operate laser marking, forklift, maintain clean work areas, and perform related duties. Requires US person and HS diploma; 1+ year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by the U.S. Government and able to work without restrictions with ITAR related data.
• High School Degree or GED is required.
• 1+ year production, assembly, manufacturing, or shop experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assembly of large tools, equipment, and projects as directed.
• Clean and prepare parts using black oxide cleaning processes.
• Package tools and components according to established procedures.
• Mark and identify shipping containers accurately.
• Deburr, finish, and visually inspect parts to remove sharp edges, burrs, and excess material.
• Operate laser marking equipment to mark tools and components.
• Operate a forklift to safely move parts, materials, and equipment throughout the facility.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout assigned sections of the shop.
• Clean up spills promptly and safely and perform mopping and other routine floor-cleaning duties.
• Properly handle, move, and store materials, tools, and equipment.

Summary:

Required Qualifications & Experience:
