Cummins Inc. in York, SC is seeking a Production Associate – Level II to contribute to our manufacturing team. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficient production of rear axles and brake components.

You will follow SOPs, work with overhead hoists and pneumatic tools, and participate in continuous improvement efforts on the shop floor. The position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds when needed, and collaborating with colleagues to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment preferred.
• On-site work at Cummins York facility in York, SC is required.

Responsabilités

• Follow all safety rules, policies, and standard operating procedures at all times.
• Operate overhead hoists, pneumatic tools, and other equipment safely and effectively.
• Assemble rear axles and brake components and perform related quality inspections.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through good housekeeping.
• Collaborate with team members to support production and operational goals.
• Perform multiple job functions during shifts to support material flow and production requirements.
