Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is hiring a Facility Operative in Greencastle, Indiana to support material handling operations. The role focuses on operating lift trucks, performing data entry, and adhering to daily safety checks and procedures.

You will work in a dynamic warehouse environment, follow safety rules, update department metrics, and perform related duties as assigned. The position is full-time and requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to safely operate lift trucks and work in lift truck traffic areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate lift trucks to move materials and parts.
• Perform data entry and basic information lookups.
• Conduct daily pre-operation safety checks on lift trucks.
• Place and remove loads from floors, trains, and racks.
• Update and distribute department measurements reporting.
• Follow safety regulations and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Duties

• Use lift truck to move materials and completed parts to proper locations.
• Use various computer programs and perform basic data entry and periodic lookup of information.
• Conduct daily pre-operation safety checks on lift trucks.
• Place and remove loads from the floor, parts train, and rack locations.
• Update and distribute department measurements reporting.
• Conduct daily pre-operational safety checks on lift trucks.
• Comply with safety regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to safely operate lift trucks and safely work in areas of lift truck traffic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Related work experience preferred
