Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 3 years' experience in production and warehousing inventory operations.
• Knowledge of inventory management, ERP systems, and production support processes.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience developing procedures, training employees, and implementing process improvements.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Accurate control and availability of labels, cartons, films, and related packaging materials used in production.
• Manage inventory transactions, material issuance, reconciliation, cycle counts, and FEFO practices.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, and QA to support schedules and regulatory requirements.
• Drive improvements in inventory management, material flow, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain SOPs, support Lean initiatives, and ensure safety, quality, GMP and regulatory standards.
• Train team members and promote cross-functional communication across departments and shifts.

Position Summary

The Production Support (Label Room) position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting production scheduling activities, and ensuring the timely issuance, control, and reconciliation of labels, films, and cartons used in manufacturing operations. This role serves as a key link between Production, Planning, Warehouse, and Quality teams by driving inventory accuracy, promoting continuous improvement, maintaining compliance with company procedures, and ensuring effective communication across departments. The position requires a highly organized individual with strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Control & Production Support

• Accurate control, availability, and compliance of labels, cartons, films, and related packaging materials critical to production success.
• Manage inventory transactions, material issuance, reconciliation, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy while maintaining FEFO practices.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, and QA to support production schedules, material availability, and regulatory requirements.

Continuous Improvement & Compliance

• Drive improvements in inventory management, material flow, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain SOPs, support Lean initiatives, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, GMP, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain an organized, audit-ready work environment.
• Train team members, support cross-functional operations, and promote effective communication across departments and shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations and achievement of company objectives.
