Solution IT Inc. is looking for a Production Support Engineer ITSM & Banking for one of its clients in Phoenix AZ

Job Title: Production Support Engineer ITSM & Banking

Summary:

• Implement and manage ITSM processes to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Provide comprehensive production support for banking applications, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.
• Monitor and support APIs, ensuring they are functioning correctly and efficiently, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Manage and support batch file processing, ensuring timely and accurate execution of batch jobs.
• Utilize monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Utilize SQL for database queries, problem analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate and manage the release of new features and updates, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
• Late Shift Support: Provide support during late shifts, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring continuous operations
  
  

Required Skills

• 10+ years in production support, ITSM, and related fields (incident management, change management, disaster recovery, problem management).
• Proficiency in API technology stack, batch file processing, monitoring and support, automation and scripting, SQL, and release management.
• Strong understanding of the banking industry, including relevant regulations and best practices.
• Willingness to work late shifts and adapt to changing priorities and demands - Late Shift (10am 7pm PST)
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in ITIL, SQL, or other related areas.
• Experience with monitoring tools, automation frameworks, and release management software.
