Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Senior Production Support Engineer to fill an open position with one of our banking clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join a dynamic team, supporting cyber security and fraud detection initiatives within a major financial institution. The role involves working in an agile environment, addressing complex technical challenges, and staying ahead with new technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, upgrade interfaces, and improve performance.
• Design and develop software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models.
• Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, develop specifications, and resolve customer problems.
• Advise customers on software system maintenance and perform necessary maintenance tasks.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Oracle 19c, Linux RHEL 8.X, Apache 8, 9.x, Java, SQL, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and make necessary system changes.
• Knowledge of computer development software and tools such as SQL, Java, J2EE, etc.
• High School Degree and Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service orientation, and interpersonal skills.
