A home improvement technology company is seeking a Production Support Engineer in the United States. This role requires monitoring and ensuring the reliability of our production platform. Qualifications

  • Validate hotfixes and deployments in real-time.

Job Category

We are seeking a Production Support Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of our platform in production. This role involves monitoring live systems, resolving issues, and validating new features and fixes through rigorous testing.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor production systems and proactively identify performance or functional issues.
  • Investigate and resolve incidents, working closely with development, QA, and Operations teams.
  • Validate hotfixes and deployments in real-time
  • Perform root cause analysis and document findings for continuous improvement.
  • Execute manual and automated QA tests for hotfixes, releases, and new features.
  • Validate workflows involving applicants, contractors, and lenders.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance across integrations (e.g., credit checks, lender APIs).
  • Act as a technical liaison for customer support teams. Investigate user-reported issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Maintain and improve alerting, logging, and dashboard systems.
  • Participate in release planning and post-deployment verification.
Requirements
  • 3+ years in Production Support, preferably in fintech or marketplace platforms.
  • SQL proficiency for debugging data issues.
  • Unix Logs debugging for diagnosing issues in real-time
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with tools like Jira, and Postman.
  • QA knowledge including test case creation, execution, and automation
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release management.
  • Experience with multi-role platforms and user journey validation.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Nice to have
  • Experience in home improvement, lending, or financial services platforms.
  • Understanding of compliance standards
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Salary and Benefits The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 USD to $100,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant''s geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
