Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
• Strong interest in manufacturing processes, production operations, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of manufacturing processes and factory operations.

We are seeking an entry-level Production Support Engineer to join a manufacturing operation and gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of the factory. This position is designed for an individual with an interest in industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering who wants to develop practical experience with production processes, equipment, tooling, and continuous improvement.

The Production Support Engineer will work alongside production leads and manufacturing teams to learn factory processes, support department optimization initiatives, assist with special projects, and gain hands-on experience with machine setup and operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career candidate looking to build a strong foundation in manufacturing engineering and production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing & Production Support

• Develop a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and factory operations.
• Support production optimization efforts across multiple manufacturing departments.
• Work with production leads on special projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Assist with machine setup and operation as needed.
• Support manufacturing activities across wire fabrication, sheet metal and tube fabrication, wood fabrication, welding, powder coating, packing, model shop, and tooling operations.
• Perform other production and engineering-related assignments as directed by management.

Process Improvement & Time Studies

• Conduct time studies for various manufacturing operations.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve production processes, efficiency, and workflow.
• Gather and evaluate production information to support process optimization efforts.
• Work directly with production personnel to understand manufacturing challenges and potential improvements.
• Assist with the design and development of tooling for production use.
• Create or modify manufacturing-related designs using CAD software.
• Support the implementation and use of tooling and equipment within production environments.
• Apply engineering concepts to practical manufacturing and production applications.

Travel Requirements
