Job summary

Prairie Consulting Services in Chicago, IL (Hybrid) seeks an experienced Production Support Engineer to join a fast-paced environment supporting critical Wealth Management applications.

You will manage production incidents, drive change and problem management, and perform root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams. The role requires Agile experience and willingness to participate in on-call rotations, including evenings and weekends. Financial services exposure is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise production applications.
• Strong background in Incident, Change & Problem Management.
• Root cause analysis, monitoring, and log analysis.
• Experience working with Development, Operations, and Infrastructure teams.
• Ability to manage high-priority production incidents and stakeholder communication.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Financial services experience is a strong plus.
• Willingness to participate in on-call support, including occasional evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for critical Wealth Management applications in a fast-paced enterprise.
• Lead incident management, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Perform change management activities and drive root cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Collaborate with Development, Operations, and Infrastructure teams to improve production stability.
