Bodycote is seeking a Production Supervisor based in Kentucky to lead site manufacturing activities, ensuring safety, quality and on‑time delivery. You will direct daily operations, manage resources, and guide associates toward goals while adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.

You will also drive process improvements, participate in hiring and onboarding, and support KPI attainment in a safety-sensitive environment that values steady cost and schedule performance.

Qualifications

• ITAR compliance: US Citizens or permanent residents.
• High School diploma required.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience preferred.

• Basic computer software skills.

Position Summary:

Based in City, State the actual title of position will perform essential job functions under the direction of the title of supervisor. The Production Supervisor provides direction and leadership support for site manufacturing activities to attain safety, cost, quality and delivery goals. Manages available resources and leads associates to perform all departmental tasks in the most cost effective manner while ensuring a quality product is processed according to schedule. This position will ensure proper use of all Bodycote personnel systems and adherence to all regulatory requirements placed on the plant, as well as support the company’s mission and values. to meet customer specifications including assisting other employees as needed.

Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities):

• Communicate (lead by example) Bodycote mission and values

• Develop associates through effective use of training, personal engagement and the Annual Performance Review process
• Assure that objectives for safety, schedule attainment, quality, and productivity are met

• This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.

Qualifications:

• This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders.
• Education – High School diploma

• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all plant personnel

Physical & Mental Demands:

• Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time in an industrial environment.
• Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
• Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions
• Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
