WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Planning, assigning, and directing work.
  • Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Interviewing, training, coaching new and existing employees.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the se of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring training plans are implemented and effective; build a flexible team through cross-training initiatives.
  • Analyzing process workflow and equipment.
  • Observing work, monitoring equipment indicators to ensure operators conform to production and/or processing standards.
  • Setting up and adjusting machines and equipment; troubleshooting or contacting support team to fix when applicable.
  • Maintaining operations data such as time, production, and cost records.
  • Requisitioning (as needed) materials, supplies, equipment parts, repair services.
  • Conferring with other supervisor(s) to coordinate operations and activities within or between shifts or departments.
  • Assuming ownership of the root cause, corrective actions, and follow up of all issues and resolutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with PPE requirements; ensure a safe work environment for all employees

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 2+ years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • High attention to detail, quality control and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and time Management skills.
  • Extremely organized.

OTHER QUALITIES WE’D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:

  • Prior leadership training, mentoring, motivating, and coaching/training.
  • Background in developing operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements.
  • Previous experience working with hazardous chemicals.
  • LOTOT experience.
  • OSHA Safety certification.

The base salary/pay range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. All positions come with a bonus plan and company stock options. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.

Base Pay Range

$80,000 - $100,000 USD
