Placements24 is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for a leading tire manufacturer at a state-of-the-art facility in East London, Eastern Cape. You will oversee production operators and technicians, ensure schedules, maintain safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires at least 4 years in supervision within manufacturing, familiarity with MES systems, strong leadership and communication skills, and a track record of achieving output targets while reducing

About the Role

This role is critical for ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality tires, meeting all output targets and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of tire manufacturing processes, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of production operators and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Ensure that production schedules are met efficiently and that quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise, coordinating with maintenance teams as needed.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
