Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Oaks Corners, NY aggregate and HMA operation. You will lead day-to-day production activities, provide frontline leadership to hourly employees, and drive safety, productivity, quality, and continuous improvement across the site.

You will coach and develop frontline team members, monitor plant processes, and collaborate with maintenance, quality, and operations to address issues and optimize performance while ensuring

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills with a focus on operational excellence.
• Working knowledge of safety practices, production processes, and continuous improvement principles.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with facility maintenance, including maintenance project implementation, or project coordination.
• Experience in aggregates, asphalt, mining, or construction materials is preferred. Similarly related heavy industrial manufacturing or production experience will also be considered.
