Position: Production Supervisor - Powder Coatings

Schedule: Sun-Thurs, 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

1. Supervise and coordinate Powder Department production operations, maintaining product quality, economical production costs, and schedules aligned with company goals.
2. Assist with production scheduling and adapt schedules to meet shipping commitments and rush orders.
3. Coordinate production operations, employee skill utilization, production hours, and workflow and inventory control to ensure timely production.
4. Order supplies to ensure cost-effective production of powder coatings.
5. Maintain and modify work procedures and production methods to meet operational requirements.
6. Train employees in production techniques and equipment use, ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
7. Maintain employee time records using electronic systems for accurate payroll processing.
8. Monitor employee performance and recommend actions to the Production Manager.
9. Ensure safety rules are followed by all team members, promoting a safe work environment.
