King’s Hawaiian is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a production line, develop a high-performing team, and ensure safety, quality, and cost targets are met. You will drive continuous improvement using data to optimize methods and equipment performance, and you will partner with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of product excellence.

As a people leader, you will schedule runs, mentor staff, and uphold King’s Hawaiian’s values while ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct leadership of salaried and/or hourly team members.
  • Ability to read and interpret English safety rules and manuals.
  • Ability to write routine quality assurance reports and correspondence in English.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Preferred: familiarity with Autonomous Maintenance and TPM; experience in food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate activities on the production line and motivate hourly employees.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects and use data to improve methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
  • Ensure shift data accuracy and proper input into company software.
  • Schedule production runs to meet demand while upholding quality standards.
  • Implement Autonomous Maintenance program for production staff.
  • Provide developmental feedback and coaching in regular one-on-ones.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and EEO requirements.
  • May require off-shift and weekend work.

This individual will be responsible for developing and motivating a team of hourly employees to deliver safe, quality, and cost-effective production in accordance with King’s Hawaiian standards and Aloha Spirit. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee will be handling items that may be very hot. Noise level is usually moderate.
