Job summary

King’s Hawaiian is seeking a skilled production supervisor to own the production line, monitor performance, and implement real‑time changes to sustain workflow efficiency.

You will lead safety and quality programs, train teammates, ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, and coordinate shifts to meet daily targets while upholding our inclusive ‘ohana culture.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 1–3 years of specific experience managing the production lines.
  • English reading/writing and spoken communication required.
  • SAP, Redzone or WinSPC experience preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain full ownership of the production line and its performance.

  • Be a champion of the Quality, Food Safety, and Production programs.
  • Lead pre‑shift safety meetings, training and stretching routines.
  • Ensure all personnel are fit for duty and fully comply with Employee safety and Good Manufacturing Practices requirements.
  • Make job assignments and execute rotation plans to comply with labor laws and prevent prolonged periods of repetitive motion.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and employee handbook guidelines.
  • Role may require off‑shift and/or weekend work.
  • Performs other duties as required which are reasonably within scope of this role.
  • The responsibilities associated with this job will change from time to time in accordance with the Company’s business needs.
  • More specifically, the incumbent may be required to perform additional and/or different responsibilities from those set forth above.
Qualifications (Education and Experience)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing production environment required.
  • 1–3 years of specific experience managing the production lines required.
  • Food industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate orally in English.
  • Ability to speak effectively in individual and group settings.
  • Ability to add, subtract, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Basic proficiency with all MS Office Applications (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to use a tablet and/or scan gun to perform quality and production tasks.
  • Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations.
  • Ability to set up and operate various manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to speak in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Forklift/Electric Pallet Jack Certification preferred.
  • Working knowledge with SAP, Redzone and WinSPC is preferred.

Compensation:

$30.50 an hour
