Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong floor presence, providing direction, communication, and real-time support to production personnel.
• Develop team members through training, coaching, performance feedback, and accountability, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Promote and model a culture of safety, quality, and compliance with all FDA, OSHA, Abbott, and site-specific policies and procedures.
• Manage personnel and production processes to ensure all quality, regulatory, and operational standards are consistently met.
• Monitor, analyze, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall line performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through effective problem-solving, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Coordinate shift start-ups, changeovers, and daily operational activities to support seamless multi-shift production performance.
• Support achievement of team, department, and site goals through effective communication, cross-functional collaboration, and execution of assigned projects and action plans.
• Manage operating expenses within assigned areas, including labor and overtime costs, while maintaining productivity targets.
• Document and investigate route and non-routine manufacturing issues independently or in collaborate with subject matter experts to develop robust CAPA solutions.
• Generate exception/CAPA documentation such as non- conformance reports and investigation reports required at the site for routine and non-routine manufacturing issues.
• Follow established escalation and decision-making processes, making and communicating decisions appropriate to the scope of the role.
• Track, trend, and report operational results, highlighting accomplishments, improvement opportunities, and action plans to leadership.
