Production Supervisor (Night Shift)

This position is responsible for supervising daily operations of the production floor, ensuring the shift meets safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with all legal and food safety requirements.

Essential Functions
  • Manage and direct activities of the shift, ensuring product safety, quality, and throughput.
  • Maintain effective relationships with team members to promote safety, engagement, productivity, and throughput.
  • Analyze production schedules and adjust team assignments accordingly.
  • Hire, train, coach, and review team performance; collaborate with HR for recruitment and disciplinary actions.
  • Inspect raw materials and perform quality checks post-changeover.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance to resolve downtime issues.
  • Complete shift reports on production, downtime, attendance, and quality.
  • Conduct safety and quality walkthroughs and trainings.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and GMP standards.
  • Develop and implement measures to improve production methods and quality.
  • Monitor team attendance and utilize efficiency tools to analyze downtime.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years in manufacturing or similar environment.
  • 4+ years managing people/projects.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years in manufacturing.
  • 6+ years managing people/projects.
Education
  • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: Associate's Degree.
