Job summary

Amcor in the United States is seeking a supervisor for the injection department to lead operators and ensure production targets are met. You will oversee staffing, provide technical guidance, monitor downtime, and drive efficiency while maintaining safety and quality.

  • Provide supervision, motivation and work direction to operator, material handler, mechanics and leads in the injection department
  • Assist in staffing and maintaining a fully qualified and efficient team to meet production standards
  • Assign work and provide technical assistance to meet production schedule and inventory requirements
  • Perform daily reviews/analysis to determine status against production goals
  • Ability to lead teams and committees and special projects as required
  • Daily reporting of downtime, efficiency and production scrap
  • Minimize scrap and maximize efficiency on each shift
  • Prepare for and monitor product changeovers, verify line clearances.

Job Description

  • Provide supervision, motivation and work direction to operator, material handler, mechanics and leads in the injection department

  • Pack bottles to support packers at breaks/lunches
  • Ensure completion of daily and weekly preventive maintenance on shift
  • Responsible for identifying and reacting to various sounds and alarms
  • Provide appropriate and timely feedback on performance
  • All other duties as assigned
