Production Supervisor (Night Shift)

This position is responsible for supervising daily operations of the production floor; ensuring the shift meets safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with all applicable legal and food safety requirements.

Essential Functions
  • Manage and direct activities of the shift, ensuring product safety, quality, and throughput standards are met.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with team members to promote a positive and safe working environment.
  • Analyze production schedules and adjust team assignments to meet targets; verify job details in relevant systems.
  • Coach, develop, and review performance of team members; participate in hiring and disciplinary processes.
  • Inspect raw materials and perform quality checks to ensure conformity and readiness for production.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance to resolve downtime issues.
  • Complete shift reports on production, downtime, attendance, and quality metrics.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping standards are maintained through walkthroughs and training.
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet customer deadlines.
  • Participate in hiring interviews and safety initiatives.
  • Adhere to safety programs, GMP, and Food Safety Standards; suggest improvements to production processes.
  • Monitor team member attendance and utilize efficiency tools to improve operations.
  • Work 12-hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating schedule as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing or a similar environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in manufacturing.

Education

Minimum: High School Diploma or GED

Preferred: Associate's Degree
