Job description

As a Production Supervisor, Night Shift, working onsite in Cleveland, OH, you will report to the Production Superintendent to mentor safety, quality, and productivity of teams to ensure goals are met through the development of and adherence to standardized work. Through process confirmation and building worker accountability, you will ensure that the shift is running safely, efficiently, and producing quality products. This is a 12-hour rotating night shift working 5pm to 5:30am.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Build a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their responsibilities.
  2. Manage supervisory responsibilities and documentation effectively.
  3. Resolve workflow problems by analyzing impediments and organizing work to optimize the use of personnel and materials.
  4. Assign work to unionized hourly employees and hold them accountable for following safety, quality, and throughput processes.
  5. Maintain the safety program to minimize accidents and injuries, ensuring a safe working environment.
  6. Support problem resolution with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Engineering, and others.
Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  2. 5+ years experience in production, with supervisory or management experience in manufacturing.
  3. Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, and stand or walk for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
