Job summary

Commercial Metals seeks a capable supervisor to lead and train teams across our recycling centers, fabrication plants, and manufacturing facilities. You will supervise, coach, and cross-train staff to perform duties safely and productively, resolve daily issues, and ensure timely, profitable project execution.

The role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to manage schedules and priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience supervising or leading teams in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office for reporting and scheduling.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise, train and cross-train all employees so they safely and productively perform their duties
• Resolve daily issues that may arise effectively to ensure a timely, safe, and profitable project
• Demonstrate leadership skills and provide coaching, skills development, guidance and support to team members
• Assist in the development of other employees including holding them accountable and providing performance feedback to the management team
• Perform performance evaluations, create individual development plans and assign tasks to the most appropriate team members
• Assist department in meeting safety, production, and quality goals

What You’ll Need

• Good Organizational and Leadership skills
• Strong scheduling, planning, organizing, problem solving, time managing, and prioritizing work skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel

Your Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in area of specialty preferred
