We operate worldwide, including facilities in Sweden, the United States, and China. Currently, we have openings for a Production Supervisor at our Newport, Arkansas location.

Purpose

Supervise production staff on assigned shift, including operation of casters, rolling mills, annealing furnaces, and related equipment. Oversee packaging of finished products. Ensure production meets volume and quality standards through safe and efficient resource use. Contribute to process improvements.

Job Responsibilities

• Train new employees and monitor their progress.
• Manage attendance, leave, and HR policies; input employee timesheets.
• Coordinate staffing for vacations, call-outs, and leaves.
• Provide performance feedback and conduct reviews.
• Prioritize problems, coordinate with Maintenance, Production, Transportation, and HR.
• Assist in troubleshooting machines and resolving breakdowns.
• Review inventory status and address inspection failures.
• Input data into the production control system.
• Adhere to safety rules and practices.
• Represent company values: commitment, action-oriented, innovative, accessible.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• 6+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot process issues.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Good planning and prioritization skills.
• Team-oriented and respectful attitude.
