Arxada is looking for an Production Supervisor located in our Conley, GA office. This position will is responsible for supervising plant operations at the site. The scope includes EHS, quality, maintenance, housekeeping, manufacturing and supervision of the day and shift teams.

Responsibilities

Safety & Environmental Health:

• Champion Arxada’s "Vision Zero" EHS strategy, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment
• Lead routine housekeeping and safety inspections, maintaining high operational standards
• Drive site-wide EHS initiatives, including safety observations, SUSA card reviews, SOP updates, and risk assessments
• Manage and enforce the permit-to-work system
• Conduct daily pre-shift safety meetings with team members
• Act as Incident Controller during emergency situations, if required
  
  

Production & Operations:

• Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and targets
• Coordinate maintenance activities, including scheduling, repairs, and permit issuance
• Monitor staffing levels to align with operational demands, including coverage for absences and holidays
• Ensure smooth shift handovers with thorough communication and documentation
• Attend daily production meetings and provide comprehensive updates on plant performance
• Perform basic laboratory analytical testing as needed
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the production area
• Adapt to changing business needs and support other initiatives as required
  
  

Financial & Resource Management:

• Ensure resources are allocated efficiently and production is executed in a cost-effective manner
  
  

People Management & Development:

• Manage employee performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Monitor attendance and maintain accurate timekeeping records
• Oversee training and development for new hires and current staff, ensuring competence and continuous improvement
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred
• 5–10 years of experience working in a chemical plant environment
• 5–10 years of supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of safety standards, production processes, and maintenance coordination
• Effective leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  
  

The expected salary range for this role is 82,800$ - 101,200$, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
