Job summary

Jensen Infrastructure is seeking a production supervisor to oversee manufacturing, lead teams, and ensure quality from start to finish. You will train workers, implement safety procedures, and coordinate daily workflows under the Plant Manager’s guidance.

The role emphasizes strong communication and bilingual collaboration with English/Spanish-speaking staff. Eligible candidates will have experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and a focus on safety and efficiency in a union/industrial

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret production drawings.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Experience with a Quality Control program.
• Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Email, Spreadsheet, Word Processor).
• Strong communication skills to include both verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing per production schedules and work orders.
• Lead the activities of employees; assist workers; troubleshoot problems and recommend solutions.
• Train workers in production methods, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Monitor comprehension and retraining as necessary.
• Participate in and oversee the production process from beginning to end while ensuring product quality.
• Supervise employees: interviewing, hiring, training, planning, directing, motivating, evaluating, rewarding, and disciplining.
• Organize the daily workflow based on direction from Plant Manager and production schedules.
• Properly operate all tools and equipment according to safety procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain an organized work area and properly store tools, materials, and equipment.
• Clean the work area to ensure a safe work environment.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

The position oversees and participates in the manufacturing of products as determined by production schedules, forecasts, and work orders.

Reporting to: Plant Manager

A highlight of your day-to-day will include:

• Engaging in interactive communication.

• Leading the activities of employees; providing assistance to workers engaged in production activities; troubleshooting worker and production problems and recommending solutions.

• Training workers in production methods, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies.

• Monitoring comprehension and re-training as necessary.

• Participating in and overseeing the production process from beginning to end while ensuring product quality.

• Supervising employees, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, directing work, motivating, evaluating, rewarding, and disciplining employees.

• Organizing the daily workflow based on direction from the Plant Manager and production schedules, while ensuring each production team is well informed of daily tasks and deadlines.

• Properly operating all tools and equipment according to safety procedures and specified guidelines.

• Maintaining an organized work area and properly storing tools, materials, and equipment.

• Cleaning the work area by sweeping excess debris on a continuous basis to ensure a safe work
