Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365; Kronos experience a plus.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and Standard Work experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Motivate, coach, and mentor production employees; practice servant leadership.
• Manage production to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Ensure efficient operation through training and development of associates.
• Utilize lean concepts to improve quality, delivery, manufacturability, cost, and variation.
• Monitor performance vs. standard and implement corrective actions.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate direct reports.
• Manage labor scheduling to optimize on-time delivery and productivity.
• Coordinate response to daily production problems with technical support as needed.
• Enforce GMP, safety policies and 5S housekeeping.
