New York Air Brake LLC in Springfield, MO, seeks an experienced Production Manager to oversee day-to-day operations in the assigned production section, support planning, allocate personnel, and direct staff through performance reviews and training.

You will drive continuous improvement, enforce quality, safety and regulatory compliance, manage KPIs per the goal tree, and lead teams of 10+ hourly staff to meet weekly production priorities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in manufacturing/industrial engineering or related field
• 3–5 years of relevant experience
• Lean manufacturing, 5S, SAP preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide manpower planning to meet production schedules.
• Lead training and qualification of direct reports.
• Drive continuous improvement and KPI communication.
• Ensure adherence to quality and HSE policies.
• Oversee daily assignments and performance through metrics.
