Job summary

George's Inc. in the United States is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead production team members by planning and assigning work while enforcing GMP, SSOP, and HACCP policies. This role focuses on safety, sanitation, and continuous process improvement on the plant floor.

You will train and develop staff, monitor yield and product quality, complete daily paperwork, and drive improvements across lines. Strong communication and leadership are essential to thrive in a busy, manufactured poultry

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in manufacturing/processing operations in progressively responsible positions.
Bachelor’s Degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, or related field.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

Meet product standards, while maintaining or improving product yield.
Ensure a safe work environment and address issues on the production lines.
Complete appropriate paperwork daily.
Responsible for training and developing employees in all areas related to their jobs.
Work to continuously manage and improve the products and processes.
Help develop objectives and standards for individual production lines and monitor results for process improvements.
Observe work area as well as the plant to ensure hazards are reported or corrected, and that safety reporting and investigations are handled promptly.
