Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Production Supervisor at our gypsum facility in Savannah, GA. The Production Supervisor will oversee an operational department and lead a production team to work injury-free in a continuous manufacturing environment.

You will supervise and coordinate production efforts to improve environmental, health & Safety, reliability, quality and costs, while coaching and developing the team to achieve safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years leadership experience in an industrial, manufacturing or military environment, OR four years in the Gypsum industry OR an Associate's degree or higher with experience in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Willing and able to work a rotating shift schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holiday work hours; shift schedule subject to change.
• Experience coaching, counseling and developing employees.
