Job summary

Alfa Laval in Tulsa/Broken Arrow, OK seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing teams on the first shift. You will drive safety, quality, delivery and cost targets, coordinate with planners, and ensure on-time production of air-cooled and wet surface heat exchangers.

You will manage performance, training, and compliance with SOPs. The role requires a high school diploma or GED plus 5+ years in manufacturing, with 3+ years of people management and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 5+ years in manufacturing.
• 3+ years managing multiple employees in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of air-cooled and wet surface heat exchangers in oil, gas, power.
• Experience with 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen.
• Understanding of financial planning and development.
• Project work & implementation experience.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong time management and written/verbal communication skills.
• Occasional travel (approx. 15%).

Responsibilities

• Set targets for Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost.
• Review schedules with Factory Planner and Project Managers.
• Coordinate production setup with Team Leaders to meet goals.
• Lead 5S and continuous improvement across teams.
• Oversee hiring and development with HR involvement.
• Develop training plans for new positions and experience levels.
• Conduct performance reviews and recommend wage increases.
• Ensure compliance with Alfa Laval policies and SOPs.
• Monitor KPIs and drive improvements; manage shop budget.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for preventive maintenance.
