Job summary

Lilac Solutions in Fernley, NV seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a team of technicians and oversee the commissioning and operation of a ceramic ion exchange bead production unit. This full-time role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, attention to safety, and willingness to work rotating shifts within a growing startup.

Compensation includes base salary, discretionary bonus, stock options, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• A.A.S. in Process Technology or similar technical field with relevant experience
• Minimum of 6 months of leadership experience in manufacturing or technical environment
• Strong desire to learn, grow, and improve
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test and wear a respirator as needed
• Willing to work rotating shifts in a startup manufacturing setting
• Interest in joining a small, fast-paced startup team

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership to a team of Process Technicians during commissioning, startup, and transition to full operation
• Coach and recognize technicians to maintain high performance
• Monitor capabilities, processes, and equipment to identify improvement opportunities
• Coordinate with planners to develop daily production plans and shift priorities
• Oversee Safe Work Permitting process and safety procedures
• Develop standard operating procedures and workflows
• Train technicians on process operation, safety, issue recognition, and policies
• Participate in process improvement, risk management, and problem-solving activities
