Job Title: Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing small work teams in a fast-paced, high-volume, unionized manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include ensuring team safety, building teams, training and allocating manpower, driving continuous improvement solutions to enhance product quality, and reaching throughput and cost targets while maintaining team morale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities to meet business metrics and implement Stellantis Production Way (SPW) processes and initiatives.
  • Ensure the production plan is met, analyze issues, and drive continuous improvement activities.
  • Lead safety initiatives to ensure a safe workplace and enforce safety procedures.
  • Understand losses during shifts and use the C-Matrix to improve zone performance.
  • Analyze quality KPIs, prioritize issues, and guide Team Leaders accordingly.
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be open to any shift and overtime as required.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interface across all levels of the plant.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with leadership and customers.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Goal-oriented self-starter with leadership capabilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • 100% onsite presence.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Experience working in a union environment.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite.
Physical and Onsite Requirements:
  • Ability to work different shifts, weekends, and in hot/cold environments.
  • Work around heavy machinery and wear safety equipment.
  • Stand or walk for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and work in confined spaces.
