Job summary

Vibrant Ingredients in Melville, NY is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the production leads and operators, ensuring on-time, quality products while maintaining safe, efficient operations. You will plan and organize department activities, develop staff, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve yield.

Knowledge of HACCP/GMP and proficiency with Excel and ERP is essential.

As a Production Supervisor, you will provide consistent leadership and operational excellence in manufacturing by overseeing the production activities of leads and operators in the department. You’ll ensure all product is produced on time, meets or exceeds the company’s quality standards, and all work is performed in a safe, efficient manner.

• Proactively identify and resolve issues related to people, products, processes, and equipment.
• Maintain high levels of service to internal customers and ensure department commitments are met.
• Monitor safety programs, product quality metrics, and production efficiency to achieve departmental targets.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• 4+ years of production supervision experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and quality control systems.
• Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Ability to lift 50–60 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and work in high-temperature environments.

Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 per year, based on candidate professional experience level. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Holidays, Vacation, Tuition Reimbursement Program.

The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
