Essential Functions

• Provides frontline leadership and support to production.
• Understands and is capable of performing production functions, spending more than half of the shift on production activities.
• Ensures flow of work and job rotation, either directly or through the production leadership team.
• Responsible for ensuring team members receive necessary training; may perform training depending on division.
• Works with the leadership team to ensure team members understand their responsibilities.
• Coordinates efforts to meet safety and ergonomics standards.
• May lead or contribute to production improvement initiatives.
• Ensures staffing requirements are met, directly or through the team.
• Encourages team member growth and development.
• Demonstrates and promotes Viaflex Team Member Values.
• Administers performance reviews, sets goals, and participates in salary planning.
• Maintains records on attendance, performance, and production metrics.
• Performs related duties as needed, including assisting in other areas.
• Continuously improves and promotes the division’s quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous leadership experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate team members; high patience and service orientation; problem-solving skills; ability to read blueprints; proficient with computers; effective communication skills.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach. May need to work in a production environment with noise, fumes, machinery, and temperature variations.
