The Forming Supervisor will play a key role in driving production performance, supporting employees, ensuring efficient material flow, and maintaining operational excellence on 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in metal manufacturing, forming, stamping, fabrication or similar.
• Strong leadership, communication, and employee development skills.
• Experience with ERP systems, inventory control, production reporting, and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations and provide direction, coaching, and support to manufacturing employees.
• Coordinate material flow, inventory transactions, and production activities to meet schedules and customer requirements.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Shipping & Receiving, and Production teams to resolve issues and improve workflow.
• Monitor ERP/MES transactions, inventory accuracy, production reporting, and manufacturing documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Job Title: Production Supervisor - Forming

City and State: Cary, IL

Pay Rate: $32.00-$38.00/hour + Overtime + 15% Shift Differential

Schedule/Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday-Thursday | 3:00 PM - 2:00 AM

Employment Type: Direct Hire

• Lead daily production operations and provide direction, coaching, and support to manufacturing employees.
• Coordinate material flow, inventory transactions, and production activities to ensure schedules and customer requirements are achieved.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Shipping & Receiving, and Production teams to resolve issues and improve workflow.

Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory experience in metal manufacturing, forming, stamping, fabrication, or other discrete manufacturing environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and employee development skills.
• Experience with ERP systems, inventory control, production reporting, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, solve problems independently, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree and OSHA 10 certification are preferred.
