Production Supervisor - Food Manufacturing

LOCATION: Orestes, IN.

Job Summary:

We are seeking Production Supervisors for a food manufacturing company that specializes in tomato-based products. This position is responsible for maximizing productivity while ensuring continuous improvement in scrap, safety, and quality objectives within a team-based environment.

Job Qualifications/Job Duties:

• Prefer a 4-year degree in Food Science, Management/Supervision, or Food Manufacturing Organization (FMO).
• 3-5 years of experience in food manufacturing or a related industry preferred.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
• Ensure production lines operate efficiently and maintain product quality parameters.
• Conduct safety audits and report food safety and quality issues to management.
• Supervise all hourly packaging employees directly.

Compensation/Benefits:

• Base salary: $60,000 to $70,000 annually.
• Overtime paid at straight time after 45 hours per week. Supervisors typically earn an additional $5,000 to $7,000 per year in OT.
