KENT Consumer Brands Americas, LLC, a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE family, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead safe, efficient, and high-quality food manufacturing operations at our Bolingbrook, IL facility.

This hands-on leadership role develops production and blending teams, drives accountability, and ensures production, quality, safety, and sanitation goals are achieved, while coaching employees to success and continuously improving processes.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of leadership experience in food manufacturing, blending, packaging, or production operations.
• Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, sanitation, and quality systems.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations to meet production, quality, safety, productivity, customer service, and waste reduction goals.
• Coordinate shift handoffs with warehouse and production teams to align materials, equipment, and staffing with schedules.
• Assign work, monitor performance, and troubleshoot equipment, process, and personnel issues.
• Verify CCP/CQP compliance, production documentation accuracy, and adherence to SOPs, GMPs, SQF requirements, and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate equipment setup, changeovers, and line performance to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Coach, train, evaluate, and develop employees; support hiring, performance management, and engagement initiatives.
• Champion workplace safety with meetings, inspections, audits, incident investigations, and reporting of accidents/near misses.
• Manage scheduling, vacation approvals, timekeeping, attendance, overtime, training records, and communication of plant goals.

This position is designed and intended to be performed in Bolingbrook, IL.

The compensation range for this role is $65,000 - $88,000, in addition to KENT standard benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k). Final compensation is subject to variation based on the candidate's skills, job responsibilities, location and other pertinent factors.
